Hi, I am new here, American living in Nova Friburgo, RJ.
1998 Wrangler Sport 4.0L manual, stock, built in Brazil.

My radiator exploded while driving after 3 hours of travel. No warning lights, temperature gauge normal (~80C).
R$1,400 tow back to NF.
The only radiator I can find is from Mercado Livre, typical Brasilian plastic (not aluminum-USA).
I am looking for a replacement thermostat, I have not found one yet.
Can anybody suggest a good parts soucre for my Jeep?

I had a expereinced mechanic for years but he has closed his business.
Can anybody recommend a good quality mechanic in Nova Friburgo?
Any help would be appreciated.
